DNV awards Royal Van Beest approval according to NYTEK23 and NS 9415:2021 for its mooring components used in floating aquaculture facilities
DNV has awarded Royal Van Beest Group B.V., the leading manufacturer of premium quality lifting, lashing and mooring fittings, approval according to NYTEK23 and NS 9415:2021 for its mooring components.
New requirements in NYTEK23 and NS 9415:2021 set strict requirements for equipment to be used in floating aquaculture facilities.
Royal Van Beest Group B.V. demonstrated a high level of documentation and product quality and received approval for their aquaculture product range, which includes shackles, mooring bolts and master links.
DNV´s approval, which was secured after technical review of the design, onsite inspection and witnessing of testing, affirms product quality and compliance towards the NYTEK23 and NS 9415:2021 requirements.
With a collaboration between teams in Norway, Benelux and France led by Mats Steindal Larsen, DNV was able to provide a complete service to Royal Van Beest Group B.V.
